Zonta International Foundation is a part of the Macy's Shop for a Cause Charity Challenge, a friendly fundraising campaign launched by Macy's department store where charities across the U.S. compete to raise the most money with the top teams winning grand prize cash donations.
The challenge starts on 11 July at 12 p.m. EDT continues through 9 August at 1:59:59 p.m. EDT. A total of US$300,000 will be given away to organizations in the challenge, in addition to the money raised by the charities themselves. The Zonta International Foundation is ready to raise as much money as we can to win the US$100,000 grand prize donation.
All donations to the Zonta International Foundation through our Macy's Charity Challenge page will go to the ZISVAW Fund to help end violence against women and girls, one of the most pervasive and least recognized human rights violations that affects women and girls of every race, class, culture, ethnicity, age and country.
Through funding from Zonta International Foundation, the Zonta International Strategies to End Violence Against Women (ZISVAW) Program has provided more than US$5.5 million to support projects to prevent and end violence against women and girls in 42 countries; however, many more women and girls need Zonta's support.
Make a donation to Zonta International Foundation during the challenge and make a difference for women and girls. You do not need to be a U.S. resident to make a donation, and all donations given via the Charity Challenge will be added to your total Zonta giving. Though you are not required to shop at Macy's, you will receive a Macy's savings pass for up to 25 percent off during Macy's 12th Annual Shop For A Cause charity shopping event if you give at least US$5.
